Virtual Viewing are a 3D studio creating visuals and applications for marketing / sale promotions. This can be anything from photo realistic CGI stills and animations to something such as client specific ipad apps.

T&E Display Group creates interiors and fixtures for the biggest retail companies in the world, from the initial designing to building the items in house and shipping the them to the clients.As the sole interior designer for the company my role is to develop ideas and create realistic visuals using 3ds Max and Photoshop. In addition I utilise AutoCAD to create floor plans from start to finish for the interiors of retail outlets for refitting. These can be anything from Pharmacies to Travel Shops.

Fifth Dimension creates 3D virtual shops for the largest commercial and trade companies in the world. These can then be used by clients for various research and development purposes. My main role entails using CAD software to gather size and positional information for specific fixtures throughout the store. Then using 3ds Max, Photoshop and V-Ray our team creates low polygon models complete with baking shadows into textures to create the most realistic models possible. Skills required include:• 3d Studio Max - Expert Low polygon Modelling - Expert UVMapping techniques- Utilising Multi/Sub Objects and Material IDs - Creation and use of Alpha Maps- Utilising V-Ray to bake shadows into textures• Adobe Photoshop – - Digital image manipulation for texture creation

XPI Simulation creates simulators for various clients ranging from the Ministry of Defence to large commercial and trade companies. My main role at XPI was to create entire 3D visual databases for use in simulators. I worked as part of a large team creating low poly vehicles, characters and environments for projects ranging from race circuits all over the world to city reconstructions for virtual tours. An example of just one of my responsibilities was to create low poly models from high-resolution LIDAR data, whilst maintaining the quality and detail of the environments. The skills required include: • 3d Studio Max - Expert Low polygon Modelling- Expert UVMapping techniques- Alpha Maps- Use of LIDAR and PointCloud information• Adobe Photoshop - Digital image manipulation for texture creation• MultiGen Creator - Used to import, optimise and merge 3d models into one databaseProjects / Databases shipped for XPI Simulation: -• Toyota F1 simulator – Create all Formula 1 tracks for the F1 drivers at Toyota (TMG)• Nottingham Driving Simulator – Featured on ‘The One Show’ and ‘BBC News 24’• Ministry of Defence – Confidential training simulator• New World Project – Police emergency response driving simulator
