As the Head of Property for The Charterhouse, historic Almshouse Charity I am responsible for the Strategic Asset Management of the Charity’s £66m diverse commercial and residential property investment portfolio as well as their operational portfolio with a focus being to reposition the portfolio and maximise returns.Having previously been a Senior Investment Management Surveyor heavily focused in Asset Management of a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential assets across London with over 20 years of experience in many areas including property investment, development, corporate real estate, asset management and property management. Currently putting in place a new commercial property investment strategy for the next 5 years whilst adding value to the existing portfolio focusing on redevelopment project of several London assets. Previously an Asset Management Surveyor for a small Prop-co which involved implementing the asset management initiatives associated with both in-house and external funds to agreed business plans as well as putting in place strategies for property investment opportunities, including Acquisitions and Disposals the management of, and all related due diligence. Oversee the interface with the appointed managing agents, as well as the day-to-day Property Management of the in-house funds, Landlord and Tenant, Service Charges, Portfolio Insurances, and Rating.Progressed from a Property Management Surveyor to an Asset Manager with sole responsibility of 5 mixed use multi asset portfolios worth in excess of £100 million across the UK, overseeing the asset management initiatives and implementation whether direct or through management of the relevant surveyors, legal representatives, accountants and tenant liaison maintaining and adding value to the portfolios.
