This has given me afantastic knowledge base across a number of technologies.* Technology includes W2008 and W2003 operating systems on both physical and virtualhardware.* Maintain and manage 70Tb’s of Data over 30 file servers.* Technical lead for a number of critical projects including the Transformation of theenvironment from current mode of operation to future mode of operation, upgrade of theCitrix environment from PS4 to Xenapp 5, design of Citrix Web Interface and a project toget our environment ready for Solvency II (major change to Financial Services Authorityreporting requirements).* There are 600+ users of the system and I am responsible for them being able to access thesystem 24/7.* Responsible for the support of Prophet Environments across Europe this has lead me totravel to Spain, Ireland and Holland in order to meet customers and perform keyenvironment upgrades* Identify areas of opportunity for cost savings and act on them where appropriate.* Mentor and train lesser experienced members of the team. Provide documentation forprocesses, risk and issues.
