The industrial placement at Eaton Aerospace complimented my degree course nicely, giving me the practical experience and boost in technical knowledge I needed to assist my final years at university. The company's main business was the design and manufacture of fuel pumps for commercial aircraft. I found myself in a project engineer's role, working both individually and as part of a team, organising and assisting in vital tests and analysis of the next generation aircraft fuel pumps.

Throughout my late college and early university years, I worked as a customer advisor which involves a lot of interaction with customers and colleagues alike. I held this job for 3 years and progressed through various training modules allowing me to advance through the company successfully.
