Building a Sales Team to sell a unique PSHE Programme to Primary Schools in the UK

Visiting Schools and Nurseries to introduce them to the range of Educational Resources that Spectrum offer.

High Wycombe Local is a web based Business Directory for local businesses. It is fully search engine optimised and will increase traffic to the websites it lists.

Joined the Institute for Independent Business as an Accredited Associate. This involved visiting SME's and offering support in areas that they were lacking a resource. There are over 2,000 Associates in the UK alone, so if I did not have the appropriate experience, I could source a colleague who did. During this period, I also became the Non Executive Chairman of a small marketing company who I helped strategically for 2 years with structure, HR and mentoring. And for this period I was also a Business Consultant for Océ UK Ltd helping to develop new marketing initiatives for their digital products sales team. With the downturn in business in 2009, these opportunities were not sustainable.

Set up and published several consumer magazines, Wingspan International, Organic Life and Jaguar Heritage.

Document Services Division, principally responsible for strategy & pricing. Also targeted potential acquisition Companies, both in the UK and mainland Europe; Trained and developed the sales team and set up an off-site demand print centre for Oracle, in Dublin.

Set up & grew the company to a turnover of £2.5m, trading profitably and operating 24/7 with 45 staff, ultimately selling it to IKON Office Solutions, a $5 billion turnover US Corporation. Working with the Xerox Corporation, Infograph pioneered digital printing in the UK and developed demand publishing over the Internet for EMC Corporation.Other experienceRetired Chairman of Xpert, the Xerox UK User Group, an organisation with over 100 Member Companies. Duties included Chairing 3 Conferences a year, and being the pivotal link between the Corporation and its Clients.
