I have known, worked with, hired and above all, respected SIMON BERE for over two decades. Simon is a class act. He’s one of the finest copywriters and most talented Creative Directors in the advertising industry.

During my time as ECD of TBWA/London I was able to trust Simon with a huge range of work projects, from running multi-national client accounts (PlayStation, Nissan, Apple) and liaising with the most senior of clients, to guiding young creative teams through their first steps into agency life. With over 30 creative teams in TBWA’s dept, I found myself very dependent on those CDs whom I could trust to get the job done. Simon’s calm demeanour and wide skill sets enabled me to sleep nights.

When I set up BMB, I turned to Simon again. Here his energy, enthusiasm and experience helped steady a nervous start-up and win the kind of new business pitches which had seemed beyond our reach. Simon enabled BMB to punch well above its weight.

 Simon Bere would be a huge asset to any agency. He’d be suitable for the widest range of roles, from CD to writer, presenter, team leader and motivator. He’s been there, done that (brilliantly) and designed, written, presented, sold and worn the t-shirt. He’s a Winner, yet he wins with the kind of charm and magnanimity which has been lacking in Adland of late. There’s only one Simon Bere, sadly. Our industry would be a much finer place were there several hundred more..

I’d hire him today if I were you. Failure to do so may mean you pitching against him tomorrow. And I wouldn’t rate your chances.
