Deerhurst Resort boasts two distinctive 18 hole Thomas McBroom designed golf courses and is the cornerstone of golf in the Muskoka region. Directly responsible for all golf, turf & clubhouse operations which includes the budgeting, staffing, pro shop purchasing & merchandising, academy, cart fleet management, tournament and corporate sales at each facility. With over active 400 members, I have created several new events and programs, which has enhanced the experience for these valued customers.
Grandview is a 27 hole private golf club with 350 members. Directly responsible for all golf, turf & Food & Beverage operations. Also helped develop and manage a new 24,000 square foot Clubhouse that opened in 2002. Planned and co-coordinated both the Telus Skins Game and the Canadian Tour Ontario Open in June of 2002. Implemented all related golf programs including member events, corporate tournaments, pro shop services and junior programs at this premium facility
Directly responsible for all golf operations. Supervisor of over eighty golf services staff and five professional staff. Co-ordinator of all corporate merchandise sales and marketing for the 2000 Bell Canadian Open. Organize and conduct over 120 corporate events. Oversee all golf shop services, including sales, merchandising and customer service. Participated in and taught at Score Magazine golf clinics for women. 30,000 golf rounds played, including members, public and corporate events.
