Over 34 years extensive experience of successfully developing, directing and delivering many transport modelling and economic appraisal projects. These (developed in line with TAG) have been completed to time and budget, for clients including National Highways, the Department for Transport and Local Authorities.Effective project manager experienced in the evaluation of major highway and public transport schemes with many of the models developed being used in major scheme appraisal, providing inputs and robust evidence bases for transport business cases at different stages in the process.Regular provision of technical assurance, peer review and audit of transport models for clients and providing internal scrutiny to ensure quality. My technical competencies and skills have been used in successfully delivering high profile transport studies and in leading and contributing to many work winning bids.My experience is throughout the life cycle of the development and use of strategic multi modal models from model specification through model development, forecasting and scheme appraisal to transport business case development and expert witness at Public Inquiries. Appearing as the modelling and appraisal expert witness at several Public Inquiries I have demonstrated my experience and knowledge across disciplines and the ability to communicate effectively. I have been a member of modelling advisory panels and have proven experience of collaborative working with consultancies, clients and stakeholders.
