PLC, Scada and standardizing developmentThe recent years I have worked as an Automation and Systems Engineer with investments projects at Steel Production Company. I have been fortunate to work with several Material processes like X-ray, cold rolling, annealing hardening inspection lines etc. I work with various HMI projects and continuously developing the HMI standard. The aim is always to automate or standardize more for each implementation. It can be Alarm handling, help guides and tutorials for machine operators as well as MES implementation in C#.Simulation and production flow experienceI oversaw the automation during the project to install AGV’s (Automated Guided Vehicle).The production we automated the transports in consists of several machines, (cold saw, deburring, drilling, lathe, blasting, polishing and degreasing). The installation consists of 5 km of carriageways, scantily 1000 storage places, more than 10 AGV’s that performs over 2000 transports per day.In that project I first set up the system and principles for the communication between AGV and the different machine interfaces realized with OPC. When the communications principles were set together with the supplier of the AGV, I lead the installation and implemented carried out by various project resources. OptimizationI have taken part in a multi-disciplinary optimization of a large annealing furnace with the objective to reduce the energy consummation. Previously I have analyzed and implemented changes in the automation of plants in Sandviken as well as in China and France, with various improvements and MES MLS installations.Previously I worked as a consultant within automation projects mainly with customers in Steel Industry but also Food Industry, Medical Industry and Water treatment plant.
