Key Summary & Achievements:I supervised the worldwide release of all Studiocanal international feature films since early 2014, including all marketing and distribution related activities. Oversaw the launch and release of Studiocanal's biggest franchise PADDINGTON & PADDINGTON 2 which have grossed a combined $500m globally. Since 2014 I have also supervised the worldwide release of the action thriller NON STOP, LEGEND from Working Title and SHAUN THE SHEEP MOVIE & EARLY MAN from Aardman Animations.Day to day Responsibility:- Manage a team of 5 to help define, develop and execute marketing & distribution strategy for all Studiocanal international titles.- Develop and foster relationships with key film distributors from the US (Warner Bros, Lionsgate, Fox Searchlight); EMEA, Asia and Latin America- Manage approval of all territory P & A budgets in accordance with corporate guidelines and overall release strategy.- Keynote Presenter and project leader for both CineEurope and CineAsia film industry conventions- Organise and manage regular Marketing & Distribution seminars on a Quartley basis with key internal stakeholders.- Create and circulate a Marketing Bible and Distribution Guidelines to all distributors outside the SC group releasing each title worldwide- Report box office updates to filmmakers, internal staff and international distributors- Competitive tracking of marketing campaigns, box office results and release strategies.- Chair monthly Distribution meetings with the International Executive committee, helping to define and execute release plans for all titles.- Development of internal systems and databases in order to optimise the share of information and key data internally and among key stakeholders.

Sales & Distribution Experience:• Managing all aspects of film distribution from setting release dates and budgeting print count levels to negotiating exhibition terms, managing holdovers of titles in release and overseeing the remittance process.• Assessing financial viability and potential profitability for each release in conjunction with individual Territory managers.• Negotiation of Exhibition Terms on a title by title basis, ensuring the top level terms are achieved from Exhibitors in accordance with Home Office guidelines and year round revenue targets.• Overseeing the roll out and expansion of digital cinema in selected territories, developing an understanding of post production, 3D mastering and subtitling/dubbing costs.• Development and application of VPF model in select markets to help support digital cinema roll out and overall strategy.• Key role providing direction and guidance to solve business and operation problems with markets, including international trading, governmental issues in emerging markets; or Anti Trust/MPAA issues to recommending courses of action to improve relations with business partners.• Writing and distributing a weekly Regional Sales Report for transmission to Home Office executives in LA.Sales & Marketing Experience:• Regular liaison with territory Marketing managers on campaigns for forthcoming titles, from positioning each title to developing Ad Pub plans and executing each one fully, including post mortem analysis and feedback.• Working with the LA Digital team for online trailer launches, mobile games and social media viral marketing initiatives. I have also helped co-ordinate the development of key Exhibitors online ticketing system in selected territories.• Advising the relevant adaptation of domestic Marketing materials for the EMEA marketplace, on a territory by territory basis regarding one sheets, trailers and TV spots. Knowledge of online database systems for use of asset resources.

• Compiled Marketing reports on box office information and world wide release dates.• Distributed Marketing materials received from the Studio including Trailers, TV Spots and creative artwork to Paramount executives based in London.• Operated the ‘MIDAS’ System to compile and collate latest box office information for Marketing meetings and weekly conference calls with the Studio.• Liaised with United International Pictures’ Publicity department for organising Paramount Premieres in London’s West End, and monitored relevant media coverage in the immediate aftermath.• Helped to co-ordinate and organise International and Domestic junkets as part of long lead Publicity strategy – this included junkets held in New York, Los Angeles and London.• Categorised the latest UK Film productions and weekly rental reports and also circulated the latest industry news from the trade papers and Internet sites to relevant Executives in London and L.A.

• Maintained a Worldwide database of scripts which were in development for approval, pre production and production. • Prepared reports on upcoming Film Festivals such as Rotterdam and Sun Dance Festivals 2004, profiling and tracking potential acquisitions for the Head of Department, Mr John Lyons. • Assisted Acquisitions manager Ms Lee Magiday in organising travel arrangements and personal engagements, and acted on her behalf in a PR capacity when meeting new clients. • Detailed research and analysis of competitors including Fox Searchlight, Sony Classics, Paramount Classics.
