Day to day running of the studio, including maintaining a clean and tidy site, providing all furnishing for studio facilities and general administration. More specifically, sweeping all pathways and roads on a daily basis. Cleaning all stages, gantries and workshop buildings. Emptying all litter bins on site, litter picking and removal of any scrap metal/broken furniture. Supplying film productions, including directors, producers and actors with a variety of furniture that includes office full set up with desks, phones, sofas etc. as well as setting up dressing rooms with sofas, coffee tables, dressing tables etc. Providing general administration to manager and other coworkers, including reporting and closing down any jobs on the studio work management system via a PDA (Personal Device Assistant). As well as the co-ordination and maintaining of studio asset tracking system, this allows tracking of all furniture assets that are currently being used by productions so availability is known.

Plan, organise and prioritise own work on a daily basis to meet deadlines and plan ahead to meet upcoming / cyclical deadlines. Act as a first point of contact for both internal and external people wishing to contact the manager (or the team) ensuring queries are dealt with effectively. Investigate discrepancies in the production of information, and data held on departmental databases, in order to support departmental decision-making and resolve data-related problems. Archive files and documents and maintain and take responsibility for the accuracy of the database so that correct information is retrievable and easily available to support queries and audits.

Dealing with guests in a polite and professional manner to meet the high customer service standards expected. Ensuring that guests are the right height and meet all the necessary requirements for the ride to maintain safety. Making sure the ride and surrounding area is maintained and kept clean and tidy. I also helped out at guest services on the desks helping to deal with guest’s complaints and seeing what I could do to help them.
