Investigative journalism for Finance Uncovered.We are a journalism non-profit, supporting and collaborating with journalists working on follow-the-money stories around the world. FU has collaborated on high-impact international journalism projects such as Gupta Leaks, OPL245, Pandora Papers and Sandcastles.

ICIJ is a Washington-based, non-profit organisation specialising in cross-border journalistic collaborations that bring together hundreds of reporters, from top media outlets, to work on globally relevant stories. Past projects include LuxLeaks, Panama Papers, Paradise Papers and the Implant Files.As well as coordinating the collaborative efforts of ICIJ partner journalists in Europe, I continue to work as a reporter. My work has been published in the New York Times, Australian Financial Review, Le Monde, Süddeutsche Zeitung, El Confidencial, British Medical Journal, Irish Times, The Guardian, BBC, Knack, De Tijd, Aftenposten and ICIJ.org. I have appeared in, or contributed to, documentaries for YLE, Vice News, BBC Panorama and Reveal News. I worked on many large investigations for The Guardian. Subjects tackled included the following:• Accounting scandals among IT suppliers to the UK health service• The Icelandic banking crash and its links to London• The £1bn VAT fraud crisis in UK online retail• The offshore secrecy industry (aka "Panama Papers")• Gold trade links to sanctioned armed militia groups • Luxembourg’s private tax rulings for multinational corporations (aka "LuxLeaks") • Regulatory loopholes and criminal action in the online gambling industry• Caribbean financial institutions and their correspondent banking crisis• Climate change pledges made by oil and gas majors• Price-fixing cartels in the generic drugs industry My articles helped win awards, spark political resignations, prompt parliamentary inquiries, change laws, build lawsuits and bring criminal prosecutions. I often worked closely with whistleblowers. In addition, I worked on several collaborative investigative projects with media outlets around the world.
