Dr Simon Bradshaw is Research Director (adaptation and resilience) at Climate-KIC Australia / Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney. He was previously Research Director at the Climate Council.Simon is an experienced and influential researcher, communicator and advocate for climate action. He has led or co-led over 30 research projects covering climate science, extreme weather, climate change adaptation and resilience, international climate action and negotiations, climate change and inequality, climate justice and human rights, renewable energy, industrial decarbonisation and clean transport. His work has taken him to India, Tibet, Southeast Asia, Europe, throughout Australia and the Pacific and to many rounds of international climate negotiations.As a spokesperson for the Climate Council, Simon is one of Australia's most prolific and in-demand media commentators on the climate crisis.
