My role as a Financial Crime Analyst within Rayn involves analysing and mitigating financial crime risks within digital financial services and crypto currency ecosystem. Key responsibilities include conducting transaction monitoring, investigating suspicious activities, implementing anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) procedures, screening against sanctions lists and adverse media, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Our team play a crucial role in safeguarding Rayn and their customers from various financial crimes such as money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing, while also supporting the company's growth and reputation in the market.

Manual transaction monitoring for newly onboarded accounts to identify trends.Identifying and closely monitoring transactions at risk of money laundering.Reviewing transactions for suspicious activity and patterns indicative of money laundering, reporting as necessary.Conducting periodic reviews on existing clients to ensure compliance with application information.Supporting Risk, AML, business analysts, and data specialists to develop transaction monitoring rules and implement them using AI software.Coordinating with the compliance team to ensure consistent risk management during client onboarding and monitoring.
