Leadership and management to the Rotherham CYPS residential service, including emergency accommodation, disability short breaks and therapeutic step down. Responsible for the operational development of Rotherham’s In House children’s residential service. This will include supporting registration of new provision, recruitment and development of the staff teams including Registered managers.

To set up and register a new provision to support upto 4 young people aged between 8 – 18 yeasr old with a new staff team, train, develop and ensure at least a good grading. To be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running (in line with Children's Quality Standard and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015) of the Children’s Home including promoting the safeguarding of young people’s welfare.

As a Learning & Development Partner my role is to identify staff inductions and development of learning requirements and address these through the design, deployment and delivery of a wide range of learning interventions. During 2018 this involved the development of the new staff induction being the lead role in many courses including safeguarding, introduction day and self harm/ ligatures.
