I have worked in the hospitality industry for the last 15 years working for Thistle Hotels, Principal Hayley, Hallmark Hotels and The Hotel Collection.National agency and associations sales manager for Hallmark Hotels, regional associations sales manager for The Hotel Collection, developing the Associations and Charities department for Thistle & Principal Hayley Hotels, within all these roles my main aim was to offer preferential rates to all Non for profit organisations. Improving the standards and value which hotels offer Associations, Charities and Membership Organisations, offering best value and where possible a reduction in the overall cost of their event.Over the past couple of years, I've become extremely disappointed with what hotels offer "Not for Profit" organisations, when they need a venue or hotel for a meeting/conference, and not realising the importance they play, not just for the industry they represent but for the employees that are represented by them.
