• Worked on the re-architecture of the bank’s contingent liabilities risk platform, which calculates the potential cost to the bank in the event of rating downgrades• Responsible for the development of the calculation engine, and re-usable frameworks and tools for data sourcing, reconciliation and analysis.• Developed a reusable base server framework that integrates with the firm-wide authentication and authorisation platforms, using Spring Boot and Spring Security• The solution was deployed to production Two months ahead of schedule, and all new code had at least 80% test coverage• Replaced complex Informatica, scripted and PL/SQL data sourcing solutions with a common Java based framework that improved on accuracy, extensibility and performance, and greatly reduced the overhead of on-boarding additional data sources.

Member of the global derivatives operations technology shared services team working across multiple projects including:* A high priority project to improve regulatory reporting capabilities built on Hadoop and Elasticsearch platforms. My responsibilities involved uplifting the early poc into a production grade system, adding new features, ingesting new data sources, improving performance and resiliency and providing L1 support for the global team.* The development of a horizontally scalable DB2 backed document / blob store to persist FpML derivative contract event data for OLTP flows - which had outgrown Sybase ASE capabilities.* Economic Data Service - a REST and DF (GS framework built on Tibco RV) service for querying economic fields of contract events.
