Responsible for managing mechanical technicians, rotating equipment technicians, and site services technicians who were responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance across all NZ methanol manufacturing assets. Assets located at Motunui, Waitara Valley, and Port and Pipeline locations.Also led planned and unplanned maintenance outages during this time.

Responsible for the overseeing of all maintenance activities on site. Managed a team of Electricians, Mechanical Fitters, and a Project Engineer. Other activities include capital expenditure request preparation, preventative maintenance scheduling, maintenance and asset replacement budgeting, HAZOP studies, H&S work plan and work permit authorisation, and planning/budgeting and coordinating annual shutdowns. Was an active member of the Health and Safety Committee for a number of years and was a founding member of the B.E.S.T. H&S team on site.

Responsible for managing staff and production of Fabrication division. The value adding Fabrication division comprised of Saw cutting, Mechanical press, CNC machining/bending, Polishing, Welding, Assembly, and Packing departments.

Worked closely with customers in Australasia, from concept design / R & D stage right through to final handover to production. Set and drove project timelines for tooling and design departments. Responsible for PPAP compilation for automotive products and CAD development.

Worked mainly in Extrusion Maintenance department on various press and plant improvement projects, commissioning of new plant, and machine guarding design. Also completed various projects in Extrusion, Anodising, Powdercoating, and Fabrication departments.
