I've been a software developer for over 15 years. I've worked on a variety of projects across the entire stack during that time - everything from data migrations, ETL, third party integrations, writing report queries, building REST APIs, POS systems, concurrency management, performance optimisation, automated testing, frontend design and implementation.I've spent most of that time focused on a few technologies - PHP, Java, and Javascript. I'm keen to branch out and gain more experience with other technologies in wide use in the industry and improve my relevance and future opportunities.I've been lucky enough to have worked within a constantly refined agile environment that has given me strong appreciation for process that involves high inclusion of stakeholders and team members, high communication throughout the development lifecycle, continuous feedback, and thorough quality assurance practices.What I like about being a developer is facing difficult problems, dissecting them, and creating solutions that make a difference in the real world.
