Attend pre-shift briefing to discuss health and safety, work scope(s) and Sim-Ops. Inspect all PPE before use.Use ID card to swipe in on platform, attend toolbox talk at work site and visually inspect work area before signing permit to work. Work scope(s) would include.. Setting up habitat's using Monoflex for specific work scope(s). Setting up of blasting equipment making sure all tags are in date, hose's have whip checks and R-clips attached.. Erect barrier's for blasting work.Abrasive blasting of pipe work, structural steel, flanges and bolts.. Use Ibix for detailed blasting.. Removal of Chartek fireproofing using chisel gun.. Preparation of steel and pipe work for re-coating scope(s) using bristle blaster, needle gun, grinder, wire brush, scraper, sand paper and cleaning solution in conjunction with COSHH legislation.. Mixing of two pac paints for coating.. Applying primer and top coats with hand brush.. Use airless spray system for large work scope(s).. Maintain excellent house keeping and clean up work site when complete.

Hold pre shift meeting to discuss work scope(s), safety issues and daily target. Turn on compressors from isolation point. Set up of all blasting and airless spraying equipment. Check all equipment prior to use to ensure integrity and functionality. Visually inspect all personal protective equipment before commencing any work.Once shipping container is secure seal blast booth. Use abrasive blasting to remove all previous coatings to client specification. Use air hose to blow off any remaining shot. Reclaim shot to re-use for blasting. Maintain good house keeping practises and change filters weekly.Once shipping container has been blasted it would be visually checked before commencing any spraying. Container would then be moved to spray booth and secured. Prior to spraying check all equipment and bar pressures to insure integrity. Turn on heat treat oven to aid drying time. Using airless spray system apply a primer coat to container. Once primer coat as been applied allow thirty minutes for drying. A final top/finishing coat is then applied and tested for thickness to ensure client specification. All spraying equipment to be cleaned, paint lines flushed with line cleaner. Maintain good house keeping practises.

Attend Daily tool box talk and discuss work scope(s) and any related issues with department managers. Turn on heat treatment system from isolation point, Set up of all airless spray equipment and check bar pressures to ensure functionality and integrity. Visually inspect all PPE before commencing work. Prepare all timber by coating in a weatherproof stain. Once timber has been heat treated and dried I would begin second stage of preparation by sanding and sealing. Place all frames, sashes, doors, and extensions on to carousel. Use Kremlin spray gun to apply primer coat. Check wet film thicknesses, heat treat until dry. The last stage is to re-sand, fill and seal any defects to timber. Using Wagner spray gun apply the final top coat to desired spec. Perform stringent inspection QA/QC before being sent to client.

Attend pre- shift toolbox talk regarding plant safety issues and liaise with senior process engineers on any maintenance required, perform safety checks on all lifting equipment including gantry hoist, chain slings and working area, calibrate computerised faro gage daily for precise defect checking of steel tracks, operate the heat treatment process line, record and gather data from heat treat process line including gas temperatures and pressures and also liquid quench lines, check all gages to ensure maximum efficiency of production and record all data, maintain isolation integrity and process stability, attend meetings with department heads and management, use permit to work system for any confined space and hot works, use of air tools, perform routine maintenance on equipment as required and notify lead maintenance technician of all planned work, use of technical drawings and data, fill out all load sheets and paperwork, perform checks on steel tracks for defects, perform any other tasks as required.
