Senior member of the In-service Support Team dedicated to providing day to day engineering support to RAF and USAF operators for the SKYNET4/NATO IV Constellation of Defence Telecommunication Satellites including 24hr on call support for anomaly investigation, response and resolution. Duties included the production and maintenance of flight procedures and related operational documentation, including subsystem and database handbooks. Supporting spacecraft anomaly investigations and performing regular spacecraft trend analysis. Providing test and validation support to enhancements in ground segment software and systems, as well as changes to associated databases. Supporting the investigation into the future application of non standard spacecraft operations. Supporting activities for the launch and early in-orbit operations of SKYNET 4 Stage 2 spacecraft including co-ordination of flight procedure production and validation. Involved in Proposal & Pricing activities of work packages outside the core contract. Representing the team at various meetings with the customer and other agencies on a wide range of issues associated with the activities described above.
