Lead planner for the development of Afghan National Army and Police operational level logistics capabilities, working with the Afghan Ministries of Defence and Interior. This included development of the plan to transition all logistics capabilities; including contract management; warehousing and distribution; and vehicle maintenance, to Afghan forces by 2014. Awarded the US Forces' Bronze Star.

Bristol, United Kingdom

Planning and execution of high priority logistics & movement support to deployed UK operations, in particular Afghanistan, Libya and the Arabian Gulf. Regenerated and managed the sail / fly line of communication to Afghanistan and set the requirement for UK Defence's commercial airlift for outsized freight.

Operations officer for a small UK military and civilian team assisting US-led efforts to support the peace process in Israel and the Palestinian Territories. The UK team delivered command and leadership training to Palestinian Authority Security Forces officers.
