About Simon Charrier

I have always had a strong interest in languages since I started to learn English at primary school. This passion led me to my current position as the Head of International Relations at Paris School of Business.As a student in Applied Foreign Languages, I really looked forward to the third year, which was the final step of the Bachelor’s but above all the year giving us the opportunity to study abroad. No need to think about the destination, the UK was on my mind since I started my journey as a student in higher education. I spent a wonderful year at Nottingham Trent University as an Erasmus+ student, but little did I know that I would be the one sending students abroad a few years later. I decided to specialise in Tourism Projects for my Master’s degree, thinking about working for a tour operator.My first real job was in a company sending students abroad for language stays. That was a good combination of what I liked: languages, education and travels. Then, I got hired by Paris School of Business. First as an assistant at the international office for a short-term contract but I rapidly evolved and joined the team for good. I took care of outgoing students, goign abroad for a year in Americas and after 2 years in the position I transitioned to being in charge of students studying in Europe. Since July 2021, I have been the Head of the International Office, overseeing all the inbound and outbound mobilities as well as the partnerships and agreements with higher education institutions.
