Simon Chen is a senior financial services professional and business developer, who partners collaboratively with c-suite and senior key stakeholders, across the Banking and Fintech industries. Simon collaborates when innovating, and effectively manages while implementing solutions, to rapidly resolve complex business, risk management and regulatory issues. To accomplish his goals, Simon leverages his 20-year multifaceted financial services industry experience, to adeptly engage with new and evolving challenges.Simon forged his finance fundamentals during his 2001 start at Lehman Brothers in New York, where he progressed to their private equity group, he evolved further when he moved to provide strategic insights to JPMorgan’s Investment Banking strategy group. Upon returning to London in 2011, to join the Bank of England, Simon augmented his finance acumen with extensive regulatory expertise. His amalgam of experience furnished Simon with a unique business, risk management and regulatory skill set, which propelled him to lead complex client delivery programmes at Accenture’s Strategy and Consulting Risk practice, where his authoritative perspective has been integral in building client trust and relationships.When not solving business, risk management and regulatory issues, Simon champions diversity. He has held lead positions in corporate diversity networks at Lehman Brothers, the Bank of England and Accenture.Simon holds a BSc in Finance from the Cass Business School, University of London, as well as a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
