A key member of a successful team offering enterprise support and guidance toclients in the Tees Valley and wider North East. Coaching clients, overseeing market research and competitor analysis, preparation of business plans and financial forecasts for funding applications. Involved in the preparation and development of various enterprise programmes, events and training sessions including materials, paperwork and processes. Delivery of programmes, workshops and events. Liaising with local agencies and providers, funders, councils and governing bodies. Assistance with grant and loan funding for SME start ups. Working on ERDF, One North East, Business Link, NEEAL and Stockton Borough Councils contracts to successful conclusions, often with greatly exceeded outcomes.

Utilising coaching, training and consulting to provide enterprise and business guidance to residents of Co. Durham. To design, develop and deliver Level 2 and Level 3 courses in ‘Exploring Business Enterprise” including marking, for an accredited training provider. Also consulting, on a 1-1 basis, topics such as business planning, fundraising, expansion and marketing. Creation of working partnerships with other organisations and encouraging referrals from the established agencies.

Working with young entrepreneurs aged 18-30 and their Business Mentors. To organise and facilitate the provision of business support to around 300 start-up and established businesses and to manage the mentoring scheme, including recruitment, training and management of volunteers. Additionally involved in the organisation of business clubs, networking events and training seminars. IT dependant and database oriented, involving reporting, updating and preparation of the system for audit.
