As Projects & Sales Director of Cobus, I have accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise within the interiors industry, a sector in which I have been immersed since 1987!As Cobus is a family business, my initial involvement came when I left school. This included working on deliveries and installations helping to generate a first-hand appreciation of the vast range of products and potential of our capabilities. I joined the company full time as an apprentice whilst studying a trade in carpentry, joinery & furniture making.I became a Managing Partner in 1990 and moved into management and sales. As the company grew I engaged with other departments to familiarize myself with all aspects of our organisation. After 6 years I became Head of Installations and built up great client relationships which contributed tremendously towards the Head of Sales role undertaken in 1995. I also took on project management roles where I oversaw our customer journey – from contract to installation to aftercare, helping to ensure a smooth sales process and client satisfaction. My Cobus journey has been fantastic, from selling & installing used office furniture to managing fully fledged office interior fit-out and refurbishment projects. It has been a great learning experience where I have built some incredible relationships with many respected and loyal clients.As the company continued to expand, moving forward from a partnership to a limited company, I took on the role as Director. Since then we have seen further growth which led us to rebrand with a new identity to better reflect the modern, forward thinking and increasingly nationwide company that we are today. Transforming from Cotswold Business Interiors, Cobus was born in August 2017. This has encouraged further expansion as we look to embrace the wider national market, spreading from our traditional South West heartlands and taking on jobs further afield as we begin to foster a nationwide reputation for interiors excellence.
