I have extensive experience and living and working in several countries spread across various geographical and linguistic regions, including; Africa (Ghana and Egypt), Europe (Belgium, Spain and the UK), Middle East (Oman and Qatar), South East Asia (Indonesia and Negara Brunei Darussalam) and South America (Brazil and Colombia).As a result, I am familiar with the challenges faced by the speakers of a wide range of languages; Arabic, Dutch, French, Indonesian, Malay, Portuguese and Spanish, when writing in English for academic or commercial purposes.In a varied teaching career, I have developed a sound understanding of specific academic discourses including; Engineering, Meteorology, Security and Defence Studies.
