Maintaining London Midlands fleet of diesel multiple units. During this period I spent 18 months on secondment at Bletchley. Travelling between Tyseley depot and Bletchley daily to support the Class 150 and Class 153 units that operated on the Marson Vale line between Bletchley and Bedford. Carrying out in service repairs, in-service failures, fueling and Minor Repairs away from depot.Following secondment at Bletchley, I covered temporary Technical Riding Inspector duties on PM shifts. Whilst doing TRI, i became aware of issues with wheel bearings to both London Midland and Cross Country fleet of Class 170 units. I supported both London Midland and Cross Country with frequent riding of there Class 170 units monitoring wheel bearings.Following monitoring of Class 170 wheel bearings I returned to Tyseley Depot working in the main work shop area. Period carrying out Mods(Compressor Unloader mod Class 170 and Coupler Train wire 4 mod Class 170) and then routine fault finding/repairs and routine Maintenance work.Trains MaintainedClass 150/0/1/2Class 153Class 156 (until transfer to East MIdlands Trains)Class 158 Perkins and Cummins (until transfer to East Midlands Trains)Class 170/1/3/5/6Class 172
