Worked in both the London and New York offices of LB on the following projects/roles- Created the draft Business Continuity Plan following 9/11- Part of team that established a project governance framework- Created project portfolio reporting tools using XML/XSLT/HTML- Establishing first IT PMO in Lehman, starting in London and then moving to New York as part of the global working party.- Part of team that rolled out enterprise project portfolio tool called Business Engine Network- Established a global project management training program based on Kepner-Tregoe program- Move to the It Training team to manage the Project Management program.- Became a Kepner-Treoe Program leader certified to teach their PMW and later their PSDM courses internally at Lehman.- Managed global roll-out of the Learning Management System (SumTotal)- Part of team that built an IT Career Navigator product.

Managed all software development for the firm, including support and maintenance (team ranged between 15-30). Liaised with the front and back office businesses to develop IT strategy and deliver business solutions on time, within budget and to scope. Key achievements included:Developed Year 2k, EMU, Rolling Settlement, Crest, Client web access, Capital Gains Tax calculator, Client Relationship Management, Portfolio Management toolkit and CRR/LER/CER reporting systemsManaged the technical integration of a major stockbroker (Albert E Sharp) onto our systems on time and on budgetDeveloped coding standards, introduced a software development methodology and a Project LifecycleMember of working party to re-define the firm’s strategic plan in response to being acquired by Old Mutual of South AfricaDesigned SETS solution, including adding many to many settlement capability to Fiscal. Specified a publishing component that enables Fiscal to output full postscript/HTML/CSV/PDF files at very large volumes. This has since been developed into a commercial product.
