I worked pro-actively to build my understanding of the application component configuration and their integration and was, correspondingly, promoted to more senior roles.Key achievements:• Led an initiative to understand the configuration of IBM Platform Symphony which resulted in improved grid resource utilisation and greater consistency in elapsed run times.• Generated Excel reports which measured and displayed grid resource utilisation and drove further efficiency savings.• Key liaison resource for IBM Integration Engineer for evaluating/configuring new Algo / ARA functionality.• Technical expert for the Repatriation and Upgrade project which migrated the ICM and all associated data to new, UK-hosted infrastructure from US. The project also upgraded all the key components of ICM – PCWM, Algo, ARA, Fanfare and supporting services such as Oracle, Tomcat, GPFS. Supported all phases of testing and designed the Operational Acceptance Test.• Promoted the use of puppet for automated software deployment – this reduced the time to build the ICM Production environment (~80 servers} from 1 person-week of intense manual effort to approx. 1 hour elapsed and has been proven to be a robust, reliable, repeatable process. Ensured the design supported the operational separation of Production access.• SME/Technical Lead for ICM2 project which delivered a new infrastructure and integrated WTW RAFM software and vGrid. Immediately on completion the ICM2 application was then successfully migrated to Microsoft Azure cloud.• Managed the ongoing support of the ICM2 application and worked with business to develop MI to enhance the understanding of vGrid utilisation by business area and overall core usage.In December 2019 my role was TUPE'd to Tata Consultancy Services. Working with the vendor and other IT teams, I managed the roll-out of additional product installations to support new Commerzbank FX/MM business requirements.As the Integration project has changed the application landscape, I ensured the applications continued to comply with the applicable IT standards or de-commissioned (and transferred the required Business functionality to a suitable replacement those) which became redundant.My final project was to migrate the applications to new infrastructure in order to comply with the standard technology model that Commerzbank have chosen to apply and handover the Support to colleagues in Germany. I completed this assignment successfully in June and returned to 2e2 at the end of that month.I am currently “on the bench” at 2e2 awaiting assignment to a new role. Show less
