I am proud to lead such a wonderful community. I take responsibility for strategic and operational planning to ensure that Rostrevor College is the school of choice for Boys Education as a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition in Adelaide. I am also proud of remodeling and expanding our Indigenous Education Program. In my spare time I'm also the Rugby Coach, a team that has won the Rugby 7's State Championship in 2012 and 2013.I am particularly proud of our leap in academic outcomes. The last 2 years have seen a 66% improvement in ATAR results above 90 with 2013 reaching 28% of students achieving in the top 10% of the State results.I am focused on continuous improvement and keep exploring new ways to advance our magnificent community.As I say to the students 'pressure makes diamonds', never feel afraid of hard work.I am also keen to continue to build a sense of a 'Rostrevor Family' where a spirit of connectedness, generosity and philanthropy are a lifelong experience. As the youngest lay Principal appointed to lead a Christian Brothers' school, St Brendan's College was a time of challenge and personal development. With 320 boarding students and 320 day students St Brendan's was a unique opportunity to shape a new school culture. I am proud of strategically leading an expansion of our Indigenous Program reaching 120 enrolments from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. I also look back on this time where careful financial management was critical. I managed to refurbish the school, pay down our debt and left the College in a thriving financial position, with low debts, a beautiful campus and improving academic results. It was a great journey of strategically remodeling a school culture through precise planning, community consultation and strong leadership.
