Scaling start-ups, medium sized enterprises and large FTSE 100 organisations exposed me to diverse industries and organisational cultures.I worked in great companies with supportive and inspirational colleagues. We navigated challenging times. I was gifted the responsibility of developing and leading sales teams. Humans at the commercial sharp end. Lives and livelihoods on a knife edge of work output and wellbeing. Juggling metrics and meaning. Searching for performance and purpose. I made mistakes and learnt the hard way. Navigating these stresses and lessons led to my wellbeing and mental fitness repeatedly swinging between poor and positive. The lowest points impacted how I showed up at work, at home and shrunk the breadth and depth of life that I led. I now know that a coach would have helped me evolve professionally and personally and navigate the challenges more productively.Connected Ape’s coaching, workshops, talking therapy and mentoring help organisations avoid the cultural pitfalls that impact their people.
