My Responsibilities have been varied but have included Behaviour management, Child Protection, Safeguarding, SENCO, Line Management of other departments and colleagues and staff training.I gained a Masters degree in 2011 in education and specifically leading change in schools. More recently, i have completed the National Award for SENCOs at UCL London. Also, I have completed training to become a qualified mediator, an area that I have lots of experience in already, mediating in schools in particular. I enjoy working with and supporting people and in particular, I love being able to help people to become better at what they do. Training teachers is very important to me. My objectives are simple... to support colleagues to improve and to provide high quality training to individuals, schools, colleges and other providers. One of my strengths is mediation / conflict resolution between adults in schools. I am skilled at resolving disputes or difficulties between staff in order to ensure a better and more successful working relationship. I provide follow up sessions to all mediation work and have an extremely high success rate.I also provide mediation / conflict resolution and restorative practice between students and also between staff and students. These processes ensure that any conflicts are managed skilfully and successfully and that individuals are able to move on to flourish.
