Varied previous experience comprising 20 years in UK construction/property working initially for consultants and latterly for client organisations culminating as Regional Projects Director at Unite Group PLC managing an annual construction portfolio of 80-100million pounds before setting up property consultancy Candour Management Limited. More recently volunteered for 2 years in Rural Kenya with Voluntary Services Overseas as a Business Advisor before joining Sanergy leading the Insights and Innovations team and latterly the Infrastructure Team. Having seen first-hand the devastating effects of fire in the informal settlements, decided to develop a safer, affordable solution to bring improved housing to those most in need.
