Hs2 Phase In Buckingham

Supervisory role overseeing various teams including Plant Machinery and their operators involved in the enabling works process where the teams are conducting the de vegetation phase, fence installation/removal along the route and also destructive searches along with land maintenance. Daily tasks include making sure the teams sign onto and adhere to the Risk Assessment and Method Statement ( RAMS ) and Ecological Arboricultural Permits ( EAP’s ), and also work to the Ecologists/AA (Accredited Agent) instructions whilst on site. Other permits include Permit to Break Ground ( PTBG ) and also Overhead Line Avoidance Permit ( OHLAP ).

As part of a small safety team responsible for carrying out various tasks within the fulfilment centre ( FC ) and engaging closely with the workforce from Amazon associates ( AA’s ) all the way up to Senior Operation Managers ( SOM’s ). Day to day duties include COVID-19 management within the FC, daily safety audits, data analysis, incident investigation and reporting. One of our key tasks is the engagement and interaction within the workforce. Other support tasks we carry out is Fire Marshall training, Emergency First Aid at work, issuing and stock management of PPE on site for the associates.

Afc Harrogate

Platoon Sergeant responsible for the administration and well being of 48 junior soldiers ageing from 16 - 17 years old from the day they begin their Army careers. To oversee the training of my Platoon set out by the Foundation College and assist the Platoon Commander with the day to day running of the Platoon in a challenging environment. Deliver and facilitate Platoon level training and oversee my Section Commanders within my Platoon.

Catterick

Responsible for the administration, welfare, and kit issue and maintenance of 38 soldiers in camp on exercise and on deployment. Whilst on operations located in an isolated Platoon House in a ground holding role in Nad Ali, Afghanistan my tasks were the responsibility for the security of the compound and the day to day running of the Platoon. As a Multiple Commander specific tasks were the planning and execution of patrol routes and isolation of possible and confirmed IED's. Additional tasks were responsibility of the kit maintenance and extraction of kit during the closedown of three patrol base's during the draw down in Afghanistan 2013.Volunteered to stay behind with another Company in the Battalion when they sustained several causalities after a large attack on their camp to stand in as the Company CQMS during the handover to another Battlegroup. On return from Operation Herrick 17 assumed the role of stand in CQMS for a six month period with the same Company that I stood in for in Afghanistan. Where duties were to facilitate the Companies administration in camp and overseas on exercise in Cyprus where responsibilities were to manage the movement of the Companies kit and equipment to and from the mainland to Cyprus and back again.Operational Tours Completed : Op Herrick ( Afghanistan ) 2012/13 Nad Ali

Skill at Arms Instructor, Search Team Commander, Ground Sign Awareness Instructor, FIBUA Instructor. During this busy time period I was responsible for planning and delivering training up to Company Group level whilst on exercise and during deployment on Operations in Afghanistan. On operations I was responsible for the administration and kit maintenance of my Multiple of 12 Soldiers and attached personnel whilst occupying a Platoon House in Sangin, Afghanistan. I was also responsible for the planning of clearance of patrol routes and the confirmation and isolation of suspect IED's located within the AO of Wishtan, Sangin. During this time frame I attended and passed the Platoon Sergeant's Battle Course in Brecon.Operational Tours Completed : Op Herrick ( Afghanistan ) 2010 SanginAwarded Queens Commendation for Valuable Service.

Bulford - Catterick

Team Commander within a Multiple ( twelve men ) whilst deployed on Operations in Iraq where duties included being responsible for kit and equipment and in charge of a four man team whilst located in Old State Building in Basra.In 2005 during my appointment as a Team 2ic ( second in command ) in the Close Observation Platoon for my Regiment and whilst deployed on a two year residential tour of Northern Ireland. One of the main taskings was to be responsible for our team's administration and equipment maintenance after completing the Static Covert Surveillance course. Secondary role was the team's driver and Team Medic throughout the tour.In 2007 again in a Team Commander role within a multiple whilst deployed on tour in Iraq and also part of the PSD ( Personal Security Detachment ) for a Brigadier that operated in the red zone of Baghdad. Duties including the safety and security of the Brigadier, kit and equipment maintenance vital to the task. Working directly under a 2 Star US General and 3 Star British General.Attended and passed the Section Commanders Battle Course in Brecon during this time frame.Operational Tours Completed : Operation Telic 2004 ( Basra ) 2007 ( Baghdad ) : Op Banner 2005 - 07 ( Ballykinler )
