Service Desk Analyst 2 Chester Business Park Command CenterAs part of an expanding role where we specialise in escalation and support for the Consumer environment, supporting “Banking Centers”, “Contact Centers”, “ATM” and the “Mortgage/Home Loans” environment. Due the nature of the role, I have naturally expanded and recently took on additional work as part of a merger, which now involves being one point of contact for all enterprise wide issues. In conjunction with that we have took on Networks too that involves looking after the health of our servers and overall management globally. I organize and host “Bridgelines” that is best described as a technical triage calls that are used to resolve issues and coordinate changes to application or environments. I also have to keep a detailed log of all the activities on these calls to present to higher management in the form of a communication “Comm” that helps when we deal with a lot of high profile user and vendors. We also monitor the banks environment/infrastructure in the form of an alert processing tool to where we acknowledge alerts and create incident tickets and forward onto the relevant support teams for further triage. The main aspect to my role is recognising the severity of any issue however significant and ensuring the triage process is escalated and managed to a very high standard

Army Royal Engineers - September 2008 – November 2012Driver/Combat Engineer Oman Delivering equipment/supplies to various locations, working to tight deadlines in a high pressure environment to complete accommodation blocks and two airport buildings to a high standard which was commissioned on the day of completion. Work involved underground cables, fire alarm cables, lighting circuits, lightning protection, extraction fans, sensors, shaving sockets, ring-main circuits, fuse spur sockets, outside lighting, air conditioning circuits and hand dryers. Often working alone and unsupervised as well as working with others in the project team.Falkland Islands I have been to the Falkland Islands 3 times but this is my most productive tour where we installed electrical components into a new kitchen and operations room. Replacing and rewiring electrical installations as required. Undertook tasks alone and completed work to a high standard within the project deadlines.Boat House project Replaced distribution board within the legal regulations to a high standard. Removed old distribution board and made safe for dead testing. Afghanistan 2008 A very stressful tour with a lot work demanded from us in a short period of time in a hostile environment,
