Currently a Lecturer in Aeronautical Engineering at Coleg Cambria, Deeside. Previously a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer with Affinity Flight Training Services at RAF Valley on Texan T6 aircraft. Previously an EASA P147 Technical Training Instructor with Thomas Cook Aircraft Engineering; B757 & B767 Theory & Practical Assessor Type Training and P145 Facilitator including; Human Factors Initial Training , Continuation Training , Part 145 Regulation Training and Aerospace Engineering Apprentice Coordination of up to 28 Apprentices of different levels and disciplines at any one time.I hold an EASA Cat B1 License with Hawker Beechcraft Bae 125/series 750/800XP/850XP/900XP (Honeywell TFE 731), Boeing 757 -200/300 (RR RB211) & Boeing 767 -200/300 (GE CF6/PW4000) type ratings.I have over 30 years of engineering experience in aviation, the majority as an aircraft maintenance technician but also in business project management and training/mentoring roles.I consider myself as being pragmatic, loyal and firm but fair. I pride myself in being level headed, giving thought before action and calm in a crisis. I strive to maintain my own personal standards but also appreciate that others have their own individual skill sets and pace of which I respect. I also believe myself to be a good judge of character. These personal qualities I apply to my life and vocation.If a man can be judged by his hobbies, in my spare time I do lots of dog walking, fishing for sea bass on the North Wales coast in my boat and metal detecting the Flintshire countryside for lost treasure. So basically a just a boy at heart.
