Regularly liaising with these clients working on preventative maintenance. • Processing claims on time and invoicing utilizing the company’s computer program.• Facilitating stock takes, managing assets • Business and budget planning• Holding regular tool box & H & S meetings, involving and encouraging the team to participate.• Keeping the plumbing team up skilled in areas which are advantageous to the company as well as Health and Safety.• Oversee all recruitment, appraisals and disciplinary procedures • Actively working at all times to further improve profits and the skills of the company.

Manage a team of 19 plumbers and the project manager• I started with Tendering for commercial projects and building a team to facilitate successful tenders.• At time of leaving I had expanded the team to comprise of 18 plumbers and a Project Manager.• Building a good working relationship with various main contractors, clients and also suppliers to gain the best price and service for Aquaheat.• Processed the claims on time each month and worked on variations making sure they were back to the client on time.• Holding regular meetings with my PM to discuss any site issues and how we can maintain maximizing profit and keep to the set budgets. • Set up monthly team meetings to update Health & Safety issues, professional development and to keep the team updated on what was happening with the company and in the market and thus keeping them interested in their work. • Actively involved in health and safety and worked with an H & S manager to set up folders for staff on site which included all forms, such as hot works, quality checks etc required.• I am confident in dealing with large contracts as well as small and have excellent knowledge in what is required when liaising with Hospitals, Airports and government organizations• Projects successfully tendered for included Bowen Hospital; new Theatres, Wellington Children’s Hospital; upgrade, Ronald Macdonald House: new build, Weltec School of Hospitality: new cooking school, Countdown Newtown; new supermarket, Datacom; upgrade of facilities to 2 tower blocks, Wellington Airport and Wellington Hospital: a selection of new work and upgrades.
