• Reporting to the Operations Manager, work closely with site-based personnel, administer inductions, risk assessments, and manage company and client-driven HSE activities, programs, drills and meetings. • Undertake comprehensive incident investigations, comply with HACCP plans and train staff according to respective requirements. Identify areas for improvement and implement systems, policies and procedures. • Apply Food Safety and HACCP guidelines in additional to having broad exposure working with Facilities Maintenance and Trades.Achievements • Covid 19 quarantine mine site closure and village lockdown of some 750 residents. Working with the Northern Territory Government, Health and Police departments on site, Newmont Emergency Response Teams and in collaboration with the Sodexo Village Manager to maintain all aspects of safety and logistics of running operations within the Village. • Significant reduction in fatigue related incidents. Delivered through a multi layered approach of; awareness training, resources, system and operational changes to rosters & equipment, inclusion of leadership teams.• Delivered significant safety improvements to the village infrastructure and surrounds through awareness, collaboration with the Newmont Village Facilities Superintendent. • Design changes and implementation of dingo proof garbage bins. Approx. 100 installed throughout the village and mine site environment. Dingo proof bins proved successful in eliminating native animals from entrapment and also eliminated rubbish from being displaced. In February 2022 and after 11 years Sodexo service operations ceased at the Newmont Tanami Gold Mine.

• Coordinate the WHS audit, inspection and observation program for BAC contracted works (services, construction and other), providing assistance and guidance to BAC works Managers in this process as well as overseeing the application of the formal WHS non-conformance program.• Coordinate the BAC WHS contracted works management process, including working with BAC works managers to facilitate the efficient approval of works approvals and notices of risk activities for contractors as well as the timely completion and submission of required WHS reports.• Partner with works managers / project managers / stakeholders in managing WHS risks & safety in design, assisting with the identification and assessment of health and safety risks associated with BAC desired work outcomes and recommending, establishing, documenting and monitoring of appropriate control measures that achieve business objectives whilst ensuring health and safety to workers and airport workers.• Coordinate and conduct timely investigations into workplace health and safety incidents, engaging with management and workers to identify and implement appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.• Assist the Head of Workplace Health & Safety in developing, reviewing, revising and implementing the WHS management system; including reporting on performance outcomes and conducting system and process audits as required. • Engage with internal stakeholders and BAC contractors to provide timely information and advice on good safety management practices; liaising and consulting as appropriate to facilitate the achievement of WHS commitments and goals, including the ongoing improvement of the WHS management system.• Assist in delivering the WHS training programme, conducting WHS training in accordance with compliance requirements and individual business needs.• Communicate current and new WHS procedures and processes to BAC workers (including contractors).

• Carry out and report on airport serviceability inspections on a regular basis to ensure movement areas are free from debris, visual ground aids are correct and obstacle limitation surfaces are unobstructed. • Perform all Airport Operations Officer duties in accordance with CASR guidelines and respond to emergency incidents as detailed in the Airport Emergency Plan. • Oversee the safety of all airside areas by supervision and escort of contractors; ensuring proper authorisation and conduct of airside works and removal of unauthorised persons from the movement area.• Perform runway visual range assessments and when requested, provide ‘Follow Me’ to aircraft during periods of reduced visibility.• Assist in the development and implementation of the airport maintenance program including participating in the airport’s wildlife hazard management plan. • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships, including maintaining close liaison with Air Traffic Control.

• Assist in the management of financial accounting and reporting systems of financial services with particular emphasis on ensuring compliance with standards, addressing user needs and meeting statutory reporting requirements. • Assist in the provision of expertise, advise and external liaison on matters of financial reporting, financial administration and taxation to both management and external agencies.• Responsible for the generation, input and documentation of month end journals into the Sun System which provides data for monthly financial reporting.• Participate in the preparation of financial statements on a monthly basis.• Reconcile general ledger accounts to end of month balance sheet.• Responsible for the preparation of PPS, payroll and group tax payments and reconciliations totalling.• Coordinate and reconcile the monthly bank account. Balance daily car parking receipts to bulk deposit amounts, trace and allocate various journal transactions.• Undertake any ad hoc financial analysis as required.• Responsible for operational stock inventory and reconciliation to ledger accounts. • Assist in the maintenance of the fixed asset register including reconciliation to balance sheet.• Assist the financial accountant in preparing statutory accounts at end of year.• Assist the financial accountant in maintaining accounting records and general accounting functions including; outgoings, insurance, cheque runs, telephones, internal audits, development and maintenance of procedure manuals, bank guarantees and deposits retentions.
