Full time Shift based SET reporting directly to the packaging specialist working with other site expert trainers to develop training material and plan to deliver training to 120 new production employees leaving in place a structured approach to all future training requirements, responsibilities also included:-• Training and coaching of operators • assisting FLE and FLM to resolve technical issues using lean six sigma tools • New equipment projects • Developing training material • Share best practices between sites • Supporting new product trials • Driving performance of designated line to meet site Key Performance Indicators During my time at Bursom road I supported the following initiatives:-• Engaged with equipment suppliers to develop and deliver training material to develop the capability of the operators leading to a 30% year on year reduction in consumer complaints achieving 0.8CPM by end 2012, • Sector develop correct understanding around product weighing performance and instillation of advanced giveaway software project to deliver up to 84% reduction in giveaway depending on weigher model, being awarded a Mad A Difference award.• Supported the South African business unit spending 3 week at Isando to implement PepsiCo standard operating procedures resulting in increases production volumes and reduced end of line waste • Supported the pack hall of the future instillation at Lincoln being awarded a Performance with purpose award • Developed standard settings and change over procedures which resulted in 23% reduction in waste and 5% reduction in change over time
