Managing a team of four to support public sector customers, mostly education, through their procurement of services such as MFDs, AV/IT equipment, telephone systems amongst others.The team is the first point of contact for a customer base of over 10,000 and must liaise between the customer and leading global brands to ensure that the services provided are to a high standard, including processes such as delivery, invoicing and tendering to ensure our NPS score (63%) is maintained and increased.A good working knowledge of the products offered by the suppliers is essential and thus the team takes part in regular product training.KCS is owned by Kent County Council and is the lead authority of many national frameworks for the public sector as part of Central Buying Consortium (CBC). Frameworks are written and managed in-house and thus the team needs an extensive knowledge of procurement processes and EU procurement law to be able to accurately convey information back and forth between customer and supplier.As part of the role, the team is issued multi-million pound, top line sales targets totalling over £10m. It is my responsibility to both set these targets, but also coach the team to ensure they are hit.I have undergone sales and management training, both within the KCS company and also through third party organisations such as Silent Edge and Sales Activator.Additionally as part of the role I have project lead on the review of recruitment throughout the company of over 150 staff to bring the turnover of staff well below the national average of 15%

Taking ownership of a customer base of over 2000 customers within a geographical area to provide support and guidance to customers through their tendering process.Targeted to achieve 7 figure revenue targets whilst maintaining a 'best for the customer' approach. Working alongside global brands to provide a thorough knowledge of the services provided including procurement guidelines, contract terms and conditions and SLAs as well as product knowledge over hundreds of products including MFDs, interactive whiteboards and apple products.

Checking and processing invoices for a customer base of over 10000. Maintaining an average processing target of 120 invoices per day.Answering incoming queries from customers and communicating these back to our suppliers.

After leaving University I ensured that I was always in work whether that be working in a warehouse on goods in and replenishment or working in catering in a coffee shop.
