About Simon Evans-Smith
Freelancing since 1996 has given me a broad range of CAD experiences, working with a diverse group of companies. Predominantly in automotive, with time also spent in F1, Wind Turbine industry & Helicopter aviation. Following 25 years of varied CAD design positions I’ve progressed into advanced CAD development & support roles. Since 2021 I've moved into the PLM side of the process, helping to develop, test & implement new PLM systems, primarily Teamcenter & Enovia 3DX. I believe I'm a creative person, often able to see alternative solutions to problems, & who still enjoys opportunities to learn new skills & systems
