Taking a applied ecological approach to land management is at the heart of what Everitt Countryside does, working with clients to create net biodiversity gain, biomass gain or an increase in net primary productivity across their sites.Conservation education is a big part of what Everitt Countryside is about. I have been leading hedge laying training with groups from DIxter, Kent Wildlife Trust, Groudworks, school age chidren and local conservation groups for the last four years. Working across a variety of sites, from Stockbury community orchard and Hand of Hope community farm.

Managing Fairlight Hall's estates woodlands and pastures, working with contractors across a variety of disciplines including agriculture, drainage, forestry and construction. I was also responsible for day-to-day management of budgets and annual budget negotiationI managed the maintenance and purchasing of machinery, ensuring that all operators were trained and compliant with HSE legislation and insurance obligations and that usage did not affect an Stewardship agreements that were in placeI worked with volunteers and youth groups (Prince's Trust and Groundworks) to create and implement training days and placements. In addition I lead conservation walks and talks around the estate and surrounding areas for various groups, from WI groups to local conservation volunteers
