Successfully leading on the preparation of bids and tenders for projects, including an assessment of sky quality across the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and producing a Green Infrastructure Action Plan for Pollinators, in collaboration with four south east Wales local authorities.Undertaking a range of design work for schemes including a number of new build schools, either at bid stage, to secure planning consent, resolving planning conditions or producing detail drawings.Producing drawings and written documents for inclusion in the environmental statement for Highways schemes.Involvement in Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects - Preparation of details drawings and liaising with suppliers and various members of the design team for Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon. Co-ordinating a three year, Big Lottery Fund funded, partnership between Sheffield Homes, Sheffield City Council, The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Wildlife Trust. Preparation of tenders, fee quotes and supervision of newer staff/student placements/volunteers and approval of financial documentation prepared by others. Successful team programming, adhering to agreed timescales and budgets. Liaising with potential clients, seeking new work, winning projects and ensuring effective communication with existing clients and partners; community engagement. Experience of undertaking staff appraisals and selecting and interviewing new recruits. Responsible to Principal Landscape Architect/Executive Director. Development of specialist skatepark design service, publicising and promoting this to other Groundwork trusts, Local Authorities and skatepark campaign groups.
