After highschool I started pursuing a career in mechanical engineering. I started my engineering education in Tallinn University of Applied Sciences in 2011 and soon after had my first internships in manufacturing.I´ve had engineering, product design and CNC machining experience in different fields - industrial polymers and plastics, different sheet metal products, defence industry, mobile facilities (trailers) & steel profile doors.I belive that the need for competent specialists in the fields of engineering and software development will be on the rise for the foreseeable future. Which is why after receiving my BSc in 2021 I decided to take on a new challenge - Java programming. I planned on starting out as a junior software developer & perpetually learning new skills required to master both aspects. I went through a rapid training course (Vali-IT) & got an overview of common software development practices and stack. After the course ended I had a chance to extend my internship at Scoro Software where I had the chance to work on integrations, splitting a microservice from the monolith & improve the search performance.The next big challenge came in the form of managing (technical aspects) cross-platform integration projects at Playtech. My role is to make sure that the neccessary steps are taken within our organisation to ensure a smooth integration process and act as a point of contact about the technical issues between the licensee & Playtech during the integration.In the future I hope to be on the forefront, helping Estonian industrial companies take the necessary steps to become the powerhouses of digital solutions, leading the European markets, to a new era of innovative industrial solutions.I have been playing team sports since I was in preschool - my sports career peaked in highschool, when I won junior´s basketball championships. Team sports have fallen to background since then, but I still continue to play sports on an amateur level.
