I am the Founder of award-winning R&D tax relief consultancy, ForrestBrown.ForrestBrown opened its doors in September 2013 and following a period of rapid growth and great success, I sold ForrestBrown to alliantgroup LP, the largest tax incentive consultancy in the US, in March 2018. I was Managing Director until July 2021, at which point I became Chairman for 2 years to assist with the transition period. As a Chartered Tax Adviser, with 20+ years' experience, ForrestBrown was my opportunity to positively disrupt an industry and take a different approach in delivering both client satisfaction and employee engagement to another level. My founding values were Difference, Opportunity and Excellence and these are as important today as they were back in 2013.As the UK's premier R&D tax relief consultancy, ForrestBrown continues to evolve and grow quickly as part of the alliantgroup family. With unrivalled technical expertise, ForrestBrown's multi-disciplinary team of qualified chartered tax advisers, accountants, lawyers, industry sector specialists and former HMRC inspectors are passionate about helping innovative businesses access the very best advice to help them grow. To date, ForrestBrown has already delivered over £800 million of R&D tax relief for our clients. I am very proud of what the ForrestBrown team has already achieved in a relatively short space of time and the foundations are set for this to continue.
