Carrowmore is a development company specialising in commercial real estate development and with considerable experience working with institutional investment partners to identify, execute and manage real estate development transactions across the UK and Ireland.The co-founders have over 75 years’ combined real estate and finance experience and share an absolute focus on protecting and enhancing our partners’ investment assets.With experience of developments ranging from £6m to £265m in value, Simon has an extensive detailed and practical knowledge of the real estate development process from due diligence and structuring of finance through the acquisition, planning and construction delivery process in locations across the UK and Ireland, as well as experience of working in a wide range of sectors and investment strategies.Before establishing Carrowmore, Simon worked with Great Portland Estates plc (GPE) on the delivery of major central London residential and commercial developments.Prior to GPE, Simon spent over 7 years with Tiger Developments and as its Development Director was responsible for overseeing the UK development portfolio and for delivering commercial, residential and student housing developments across the UK.Simon spent 2 years as Head of Development Europe at HDG Mansur, a US based global real estate investor and developer and fund manager for the Shari’ah compliant HSBC Amanah Global Properties Income Fund.Simon started his real estate career with Landmark Securities Plc, a South African real estate investor and developer which merged with the Stenham Asset Management Group to form a major investor and developer of assets across the globe.
