I first joined the ARCHAEO-Converge Team (incorporating Archaeo Cultural Heritage Services and Converge Heritage & Community) in 2004 as an archaeologist and cultural heritage consultant. I became a working Director of ARCHAEO-Converge in 2007 and became the first Managing Director of ARCHAEO-Converge group in March of 2015. Prior to joining the ARCHAEOConverge Team in 2004 I worked in Hungary for a number of years as a field archaeologist, excavation director and cultural heritage consultant for several Hungarian county museums. I continue to maintain strong connections with colleagues in Hungary and return as often as possible.I am privileged to work in partnership with a cohesive team of highly experienced and innovative professionals , as well as working closely with a range of long term, external professional partners. In addition to my managerial role, I continue to work as an archaeologist and active member of the company’s professional team with my work focusing on the provision of pragmatic and strategic advice across the company’s suite of services. I have considerable experience in the areas of built and historic heritage management, and related planning and compliance advice, inclusive of being project Director for the considerable number of regional heritage studies completed by Converge over the last five or so years.Additionally, I specialise in the provision of advice in regards to Aboriginal cultural heritage management, including legislative compliance, engagement strategies for Aboriginal stakeholders and the development of Aboriginal cultural heritage management plans. Furthermore, as manager of Archaeo's Indigenous Employment Services, a key part of my role is the management of our Aboriginal employment and training division that offers safe and culturally appropriate employment services to in excess of 200 casual Traditional Owner field officers - something I am very proud of.
