I was brought on board to reenergise the department and bring some much needed structure, focus and balance to it.• Successfully managed to maintain staff wellbeing, engagement and productivity during COVID and remote working.• Successfully managed to maintain output and product development during COVID.• 2021 – Launched Titon’s own DMEV Unit compliant with upcoming regulations ahead of the market competition.• 2020 – Launched the HRV20 MVHR unit - H&V News Awards 2020 Finalist• Started a long term research project for future proofing passive ventilation products in line with changing regulations.• 2016 - Launched Titon’s first NO2 filter unit - Housebuilder Product Awards 2016 Winner• 2015 - Launched Titon’s first Horizontal MVHR Unit to complement their Vertical range and secure family product related orders we had been missing out on previously.• Liaised with suppliers for all components and tooling travelling to China to source more cost effective solutions (tools, injection moulds, and electronics).• Took over as design authority for our Korean sister company and pre-COVID visited regularly each year.• Brought the R&D lab in line with smarter working by making the layout more effective and efficient; during my first few months I reorganised the lab into zoned areas making it a more efficient and process organised area and created a dedicated lab office. • Restructured the department bringing depth, new skills and experiences, empowering the existing employees (2 of which have now completed 30 and 37 years working for the Titon) and re-integrate them into the factory environment building strong working relationships.
