You gain experience only with time, I have now had 24 years as a member of HM Forces as a Royal Engineer and 18 years in the civilian work place.Apprenticed as Fitter /Turner and Combat Engineer, then progressed completing a HND in Building Services followed as a mature student studying at South Bank University completing an Honours Degree in Building Services/Energy Engineering.Environments worked in are Germany, Cyprus, Australia, St Kilda in the Outer Hebrides, Northern Island, Devon, Cornwall, Ascension Island, Falklands Islands & Saudi Arabia.Companies worked for since leaving the military, Cable and Wireless, Bovis Lendlease, AECOM, Interserve and Aramco working on the Jazan Economic City.I am a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
